Sign-ups for the Warren Dunes weekend are due at this meeting. We will start working on menus, gear lists, and duty rosters.

- Ice Age Trail Weekend
Four Scouts and four leaders spent a weekend backpacking on the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin last weekend. Outings like this are why someone joins Scouts. We tested our gear, our meal planning skills, and ourselves (read grit!) on a weekend that included two chilly nights sleeping in trail shelters, 15 miles of hiking, and a great experience in the outdoors on a famous hiking trail. The crew’s gear held up, our food was good and nourishing, we stayed warm at night, and we finished the weekend with a sense of pride in the skills we have learned in Scouts. Here are a couple of pictures from the weekend.
- Spring Court of Honor
Eleven Scouts received recognition for rank advancement and seven merit badges were awarded. Congratulations to all of the Scouts who received awards.
- May Camping Weekend - Warren Dunes, Michigan - May 16-18
The Dunes are probably the Troop’s favorite destination for a weekend camping trip. The cost for the weekend is $45.00 per camper. The permission slip (Resource Center) and payment are due no later than the May 5th Troop meeting.
