- Next Troop Meeting – August 19 – Ahearn Center (Gym) - 7:00-9:00 pm
We will be helping Chris with painting his Eagle project. Wear old clothes that can get paint on them. There should also be time for working on individual advancement. A lot of you guys have been very productive with advancement. Keep up the good work!
The uniform for this meeting is clothes suitable for painting.

Hello Troop 965,
My upcoming Eagle Project will take place on Sunday, August 18 at 12:00. We will be constructing three standing gardens to allow easy access for those in wheelchairs. We will meet at Mr. Gulliford’s house (7416 N Ottawa) to construct the gardens and then transport them to Ascension Living St. Benedict Village just off Touhy/Milwaukee. Lunch will be provided for volunteers. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. If any parents have a pickup truck or large car and if they are willing to transport a garden (3’x3’x3’), please let me know.

We had a very productive PLC meeting last week. Thanks to each of the members for being on time and ready to work. We focused our discussion on fall planning.

Thank you to everyone for your support of the Superdawg fundraiser. Hopefully, everyone was able to stop in for a tasty treat. We won’t hear the results for a couple of months.
- Chicago Architecture Foundation Merit Badge Workshop – Sunday, September 22
The CAF is offering an Architecture merit badge workshop on Sunday, September 22. This workshop will fill very quickly, so if you are interested use this website Architecture Merit Badge to register ASAP. The cost is $15.00 per Scout.
