Hi everyone,

- Next Troop Meeting – Monday, February 17 – Gym - 7:00-9:00 PM

The Troop meeting next Monday will be focused on preparing for the March 7-9 cabin camping weekend at Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta in Wisconsin. We will be working on menus, shopping lists, and duty rosters for KP. If you are planning to go on this weekend your payment and permission slip are due this coming Monday, February 24. No late sign-ups will be accepted.

There will also be opportunities for individual rank advancement.

Class A uniforms for this meeting.

- Cabin Camping – March 7-9 – Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta – Mark Your Calendar!

The Troop is headed to Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta near Burlington, Wisconsin for the first camping weekend of 2025. The cost of the weekend is $45.00 per camper. Sign-up and payment are due by Monday, February 24. Menu planning will be done at the Troop meeting on February 24, so no late sign-ups will be accepted.

The permission slip is in the Resource Center and should be turned in at the February 24 Troop meeting.

- Order of the Arrow Election - Congratulations Louie!

Representatives of the Order of the Arrow (OA) were at our last Troop meeting to conduct the annual election of Scouts eligible to join Scouting’s National Honor Camping Society. Louie was eligible and his fellow Scouts elected him unanimously to join the OA. We are very proud of his accomplishments in rank advancement and camping nights. He will be invited to a fellowship weekend of camping, service, and learning more about the Order of the Arrow.

- Bishop John Siemianowski – Mass of Thanksgiving – Saturday, March 1 – 5:00 PM

Four Scouts are lined up to serve as the Color Guard for Father John’s Mass of Thanksgiving. The remainder of the Troop is invited to sit together at the Mass and receive a special blessing from our new bishop at the end of Mass.

- White River Canoe Trip - June 16-20

I hope you saw the email sent out on Wednesday about the White River Canoe Trip in June. We will start taking sign-ups for the trip at the March 3 Troop meeting.
