We will begin preparing for the October 17-19 camping weekend at Rock Cut State Park. There is more about the camp-out below.

Class B uniforms - Yay!

The PLC will hold its monthly meeting to continue planning our fall activities. Please be on time and ready to work!

- White Pines Camping Recap

We had a great camp-out at White Pines last weekend. The weather was beautiful with warm days and cool, clear nights. We did some hiking and worked on some advancement. The night skies were notably clear. We could even see the Milky Way over us on both nights.

- October 17-19 Camping Weekend at Rock Cut

Rock Cut is one of our favorite places to camp. It has the best youth camping area of anywhere we have been. The campsites are roomy and on the shore of Lake Pierce. It is especially pretty in the fall. Planning for the weekend begins t the October 6 Troop meeting.

The permission slip (Resource Center) and $45.00 payment for the weekend is due at the October 6 Troop meeting. Scouts who worked on the Car Wash only have to pay $35.00 for the weekend. No late sign-ups will be accepted.

- Greg Kasper Memorial Update

Thanks to everyone for a good showing at the Greg Kasper Memorial on Monday night. The Kasper family was very moved by support shown to them by their neighbors, Troop alumni, and current members of Troop 965.

A very special THANK YOU to Assistant Scoutmaster Mike Reese for his dedication to refurbishing the memorial and seeing the project through to completion.
