- Next Meeting – Monday, August 22 – 7:00-9:00 - Ahearn Center
We will be discussing the fall schedule and getting our camping gear organized in the Shroom. Floor hockey if time permits. Class B uniforms.
- Fall Court of Honor – Monday, September 19 – 7:30 pm – School Hall
Please mark your calendar for the Fall Court of Honor. The Scouts will be receiving recognition for rank advancement and merit badges they have earned since the spring. We will also see pictures of our latest activities, including summer camp, the Minnesota canoe trip, and the Des Plaines River day trip. As part of the evening, we will have a short parent meeting to discuss the need for more parental involvement and ways to increase membership in the Troop.
It's very important that every Scout have a parent on hand to see them be recognized for the work they did to advance in rank or complete a merit badge. It pains me to see a Scout receive an award and not have someone at his side to share the moment with him. I hope you will make plans to join us on the 19th.

Stay tuned. The Fall Troop Calendar is almost done and will be out soon. It will be suitable for printing and posting on the refrigerator! We have a great slate of outings and activities planned for the fall.
- Colin Albanito - Eagle Scout!
Congratulations to Colin Albanito - our newest Eagle Scout! Colin passed his Eagle Board of Review last week. Great job Colin! We are very proud of you and your accomplishments in Scouting.

We will be at Camp Blackhawk on the Owasippe Scout Reservation next summer from Sunday, July 16 to Saturday, July 22, 2023. Mark those calendars for another great week at Owasippe!
