We will be working on individual rank advancement and starting to prepare for the camping weekend at Starved Rock on April 26-28.

- NEW Troop Cellphone/Communication Device Policy – Effective April 15
The Troop Cellphone and Communication Device Policy takes effect this coming Monday, April 15. Scouts and Leaders will check their phones during the Troop meeting from 7:30 to 9:00. The full policy can be found here: Policies.
- St. Vincent DePaul Food Dive – Sunday, April 14 – Church – Scouts Needed!
The St. Vincent DePaul Society Food Drive will be held at St. Juliana this weekend during all the Masses. The St. Vincent DePaul Society is asking for assistance from Troop 965 with the loading of the truck that will take the donations to Catholic Charities. Scouts and Leaders are invited to arrive at Church at 11:15 am and assist with loading until about 12:30 pm. This would be a great way to earn service hours. If you are available to help, please come out on Sunday.

We are all set for a weekend of camping and hiking at Starved Rock State Park. The Park has great hiking trails, seasonal waterfalls, canyons, and views of the Illinois River. Payment and permission slip are due at the April 22 Troop meeting.
- Introduction to Troop Leadership Skills – April 29, May 6, 13 – 7-9 pm
We will begin the Introduction to Troop Leadership Skills training at the April 29 Troop meeting. Please note: The meeting will start at 7:00 sharp. Dinner will be served to the Troop at each of the three (April 29, May 6 and 13) training sessions!
