- Troop Meeting - Monday, August 15 - 7:00pm-9:00pm - Ahearn Center
We will be working on getting our new tents organized for the fall camping season and will be talking about the fall schedule of activities.
- Uniform Reminders
Class a Uniforms: We will be going back to Class A uniforms on the Monday after Labor Day - September 12. The Class A uniform is the khaki Scout shirt, the black Troop neckerchief, a slide, AND for Scouts under the rank of Star the BSA Handbook. A number of Scouts have been coming to meetings without their Handbooks.
- BSA Handbook
Scouts under the rank of Star must bring their handbook to EVERY Troop meeting. We will be sending them home to get their book if they don't have it with them.
- Des Plaines River Canoe Trip
A group of 9 of us had a fun float on the Des Plaines River yesterday. It was a perfect day for paddling and canoe battles. No one came off the river dry!
