Hi everyone,
Happy New Year! I hope you had a good holiday season with family and friends. As we get back into the swing of normal routines I want to get the 2023 Troop winter/spring calendar out to you. We have a full line-up of activities and outings coming up between now and summer. Please review the calendar (available in the Resource Center) and print it out to post on the refrigerator or family bulletin board.
Some items I want to call your attention to:
- Monday, January 23 - Troop Meeting and Parent Meeting - 7:00 pm in the Ahearn Center (Gym)
We will hold an important parent meeting as well as a Flag Retirement Ceremony. The meeting will be an opportunity for us to update you on upcoming Troop activities, including summer camp, a trip to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, and a possible summer canoe trip. We have an ambitious summer schedule that we want to make sure you are aware of as you make your family's summer plans.
- Sunday, February 5 - Eagle Scout Court of Honor - 4:00 pm in the Ahearn Center (Gym)
Please join us for a celebration of our newest Eagle Scouts - Colin Albanito and Aidan Rice. The Eagle Court of Honor is the pinnacle of the Scouting experience.
- Sunday, February 19 - Scout Sunday - 9:30 am in Church
Our next regular Troop meeting is Monday, January 9 in the Ahearn Center (Gym) at the regular time of 7:00 pm. Class B uniforms for this meeting. We will be taking down the Christmas creche.
