- Next Troop Meeting – Monday, October 16 – School Hall
Thanks to parish nurse Cindy Brennan for demonstrating the use of the AED at our last meeting. Thanks to Mr. Mandelin for getting it set up.
At our next meeting we will be getting organized for the Haunted Hike and working on individual advancement.
Class A uniforms for all Scouts and Leaders.
- Order of the Arrow Haunted Hike – Friday, October 20
The OA’s annual Haunted Hike is coming up. The cost of the Hike is $10.00 per person and payment is due by the next Troop meeting – October 16. Please bring your permission slip and payment to the Troop meeting this coming Monday night.
- October Camping Weekend - Canceled
As I told you in an email about a week ago, I was concerned that the boys would want to be home on the weekend before Halloween. What I heard from many of you is that your Scout has other things going on that weekend.
Thanks for getting back to me and helping us decide about the weekend. We are canceling the October camping weekend.

- Friday, October 20 – Order of the Arrow Haunted Hike
- Monday, October 23 – Uncle Pete’s Ministry as part of the regular Troop meeting
- November 18-19 – Family Thanksgiving Mass/Dinner – Camp Reinberg, Palatine
Summer Camp 2024 Dates are Set
We are confirmed for a week at Camp Blackhawk (Go!) for Sunday, July 14-20, 2024.
