- Next Troop Meeting – Monday, September 11 – Ahearn Center (Gym) - 7:00-9:00
There is NO Troop Meeting on Labor Day.
At our meeting on September 11, we will be reviewing the Night Hike and prepping for the Fall Court of Honor.
- Fall Court of Honor - September 18 – School Hall
The Scouts will be receiving recognition for advancing in rank and earning merit badges. It is important to the Scouts that members of their family are present to support them in Scouting. We will also be reviewing activities of the past few months and previewing upcoming plans. The Court of Honor will conclude by 8:45.
- Night Hike and Trail Dinner – Friday, September 8 – North Branch Trail – Forest Preserves
Join us for something a little different. We will be hiking at night in the forest preserves and enjoying a trail dinner along the way. Parents are always welcome to join us. The permission slip is in the Resource Center.
Hikers will need to bring:
The Troop will supply dinner and eating utensils. We will meet at the St. Juliana Parish Center at 6:00 PM.
There is no charge for this outing, but we need to get an idea of how many are going to ensure we have the right amount of food. Please send me an email by Wednesday, September 6 at 6:00 pm if you are planning to go. No late sign-ups will be accepted.
- September Camping Weekend – September 29–October 1 – BSA Camp Betz
We will be camping with the Webelos Scouts of Pack 3965 at Camp Betz. We will be introducing the Webelos to Boy Scout camping and teaching them some outdoor skills – fire building, cooking, etc. The weekend will also provide opportunities for Boy Scouts to work on rank advancement.
The cost of the weekend is $25.00 per camper. The permission slip is posted in the Resource Center.

We are confirmed for a week at Camp Blackhawk (Go!) for Sunday, July 14-20, 2024.
