- Next Troop Meeting – Monday, September 12 - Ahearn Center - 7:00-9:00
There is NO Troop Meeting on Labor Day.
This will be an important meeting as we transition to new Troop leaders – patrol leaders, Senior Patrol Leader, and Scribe. If you are interested in serving the Troop in a leadership role, fill out the attached application and bring it to the September 12 Troop meeting.
We will also be preparing for the September 19 Fall Court of Honor. More on this below.
Class A uniforms (Scout shirt, neckerchief, slide, and BSA Handbook) for everyone!
- Night Hike and Trail Dinner – Friday, September 9 – Forest Preserves
Join us for something a little different. We will be hiking at night in the forest preserves and enjoying a trail dinner along the way. The permission slip is in the Resource Center.
Hikers will need to bring:
The Troop will supply dinner and eating utensils. We will meet at the St. Juliana Parish Center at 6:00 PM.
There is no charge for this outing, but we need to get an idea of how many are going to ensure we have the right amount of food. Please send me an email by Wednesday, September 7 if you are planning to go.
- Fall Court of Honor – Monday, September 19 – 7:30 PM – School Hall
Please join us for the Fall Court of Honor. The Scouts will be receiving recognition for advancing in rank and earning merit badges. It is important to the Scouts that members of their family are present to support them in Scouting. We will also be reviewing activities of the past few months and previewing upcoming plans. The Court of Honor will conclude by 8:45.

We have a full slate of activities planned for the rest of 2022. See the Calendar page and the attachment below for details.
- Summer Camp 2023 Dates are Set
We are confirmed for a week at Camp Blackhawk (Go!) for Sunday, July 16 to Saturday, July 22, 2023.

- rain gear
- water
- snacks
- flashlight or headlamp
